Martha’s Vineyard Poet Laureate Justen Ahren is founder and director of Noepe Martha’s Vineyard Center for Literary Arts and the Italy Writing Workshop in Orvieto, Italy, and author of the poetry collection, A Strange Catechism. When not trying to create a writing community on Martha’s Vineyard, he teaches writing workshops and travels with his family. He lives in West Tisbury.
