He enjoys writing about politics and history, and gets particularly passionate when the two topics are combined. His journalism career includes 14 years as a bureau chief for the Cape Cod Times, managing editor of a group of weekly newspapers in Plymouth, and helping to launch the Talking Points newsletter.
