BELLA MORAIS was raised on the Vineyard by two artist parents: a writer and a ceramicist/painter. She finds artistic refuge in Featherstone’s Francine Kelly Gallery as a gallery and administrative assistant. When not at work, her nose is buried in a book of any shape, size, or genre. Bella attended Wesleyan University and Brooklyn College, pursuing degrees in communication and art history. During COVID, and a break from school, she worked as a journalist, social media manager, and event coordinator for the awardwinning news websites the Root, HuffPost and BuzzFeed News. She is the oldest of five sisters.
