Matthew Cooper

 

Matthew Cooper is a contributing editor at Washingtonian. For over 30 years, he has covered politics and policy for national magazines including Time, Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report and The New Republic. He was a White House Correspondent during the Clinton and George W. Bush presidencies. A graduate of Columbia College in New York, he’s written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, Slate, George, and many other publications. He lives in Washington, D.C. but prefers the Vineyard.
