Paul Karasik is a cartoonist and educator living in West Tisbury, MA. City of Glass, the graphic novel adaptation of Paul Auster’s book that Mr. Karasik co-created with David Mazzuchelli, was named by The Comics Journal as one of the “Best Comics of the 20th Century”. With his sister, Judy, Mr. Karasik created,  The Ride Together, winner of the Autism Society of America’s “Best Literary Work of the Year”. Mr. Karasik received an Eisner Award for his anthology of work by a forgotten comics visionary, Fletcher Hanks. He teaches at The Rhode Island School of Design and his work appears in The New Yorker.
