Fred Barron wrote and executive-produced Sessions with Billy Crystal, executive-produced Seinfeld, created Caroline in the City, and wrote the Emmy awardwinning Displaced Person. In the U.K., Barron created, wrote, and executive-produced the BAFTA-nominated sitcom, My Family, for the BBC. What started as a six-episode series based on his late father, a curmudgeonly Boston dentist, turned into the longest-running sitcom in British television. Barron is currently writing and producing a documentary film about outsider art, Bill Traylor: Chasing Ghosts, which will premiere at the Smithsonian in 2018.
